Course overview
This engaging and diverse business and management degree explores the critical areas of business and management practice and underpins this reality with the foundations of organisational theory.
The foundation year helps you develop knowledge and skills to make the transition to university study, and in particular, to gain business and management knowledge and develop academic and personal skills to proceed confidently through the remainder of the course. During the foundation year (year 0) you study a range of fundamental business and management subjects, and develop important practical academic skills to prepare you for the remainder of your course.
Professional accreditation
With dual accreditation at Teesside University, as well as the degree you will receive a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), which is the only chartered professional body for management and leadership. Dual accreditation means you will automatically receive a second professional qualification upon successful completion of your programme.
